Brittany and an atypical site
We spent two weeks in Brittany for rest and research.
The following field or site was interesting; The Valley of the Saints.
We had a recommendation to go, and the site was worth the trouble. The more interesting aspect was the more modern presentation of some of the saints.
There is the one that appears to ‘ give the finger’ , someone out of a 1970’s tv show, the winner of the World Cup in 1998?A Khardasian behind?
Good value.

Walking continues
Yesterday was day 2 of 3 and turned out to be longer than planned. We misplaced the route on the moors and as such walked an extra 5 km or so. The underfoot is hard work there and even when we re-found the path it was not easy as the path was a very basic construction.

We did not make it to the top but good all the same. Quite hard work and challenging for the feet.

A visit to a new garden yesterday. As with these things I have known of its existence for many years but never took the time, effort or cost to go and see.
So a trip with Shaz, cheaper because of RHS membership, to sunny Surrey on the 65 bus.
Beautiful, interesting and very relaxing with a pleasant walk along the Thames to Richmond high street at the end.
