Yesterday was International day of Climate Action, part of the politics and issue awareness to attempt to impact upon the discussions planned in Copenhagen. How relevant that it was set in the shadow of the NZ stock exchange?
So, the international 
event was promoted by 35o.org with events organised by here by the NZ branch. Of course the clan attended.The afternoon was filled with a number of events, some music of variable quality and interest and a few groups attended who would fit into the “knit your own yogurt” camp. A number of groups present were pro-cycling-so can’t all be bad!

now then, as you know I am ever so slightly skeptical…..my plan for NZ is to reduce all the human hot air demonstrated here, and get rid of methane producing sheep.
I think it is more the cows who produce the significant levels of eCO2. I read an interesting blog on BBC from environment correspondent about “skeptical presentation” of whom David Bellamy and an alternative weather forecaster were part. All well and good but lack of evidence presented to argue emphatically their position. Obviously a problem if you want to convince scientists
